We're Still Alive :)

I feel like its been a while since I have had the time to update our little blog! But I promise that we're still alive! Just EXTREMELY busy! And honestly I don't have much time today to post this anyway, so it's gonna be pretty short and rather boring ... ha!

So lots of new things from the past few weeks! Biggest is that school started, hence the reason we have no time! Spencer is taking a full class schedule and working on campus, and I am officially taking 14 credits and working 30 hours a week! I think that I must be crazy! and I think this must be the reason my ankles are getting so huge... or maybe this has something to do with the fact that I've got a baby coming soon.. Who knows! :)

In other news! Our little baby boy is growing healthy and HUGE! the doctor said that right now he could be anywhere between 2-3 pounds!! and about 14 inches long! That's so big! I'm starting to think this belly of mine will burst any day now! and to think we've still got 3 months of growing left to do.....

His favorite thing to do as of late is kick my belly button! and let me tell you, it is a silly feeling to watch my tummy moving around like there's popcorn popping inside me, and it is a VERY VERY silly feeling to get kicked in the belly button!

I am so very excited because yesterday I made (yes made) my very own maternity pants! Wooo! not only am I excited because of my creativity! but I am excited to finally be done with my old, way to small, use to leave the zipper undone pants! It really amazes me how much change my body has gone through, its such a miracle that it can make room for a little person to grow :) I really cant wait to meet this little man who I already love so much!
Anyways! We're doing wonderful! Enjoying life and this beautiful weather! Hope your Wednesday is going as great as ours is! (even though I managed to shatter a glass plate, and Spencer managed to shatter a chemistry test tube all before noon... :)

Easter Sunday :)

I must say that this Easter was a great one!
It started the night before when we decided to die our Easter eggs! The only problem was that for some reason neither of us had ever learned how to make hard boiled eggs! So that was an adventure its self just trying to figure that out! we might have exploded a few....
But in the end they all turned out beautiful!

Of course we had to throw in a few creeper pictures!

And I thought it was so sweet! Spencer made this one and he said the B was for Baby :)

So then in the the morning Spencer got his Surprise Easter basket! :) and we ate a few hard boiled eggs for breakfast and headed to church! It was a really great Sunday! There were two baby blessings! and some really great talks and lessons about our Savior Jesus Christ, everything seemed to flow together so nicely! it was such a great reminder that what Easter is really all about is the Resurrection of Christ and that He Lives :)

That night we made our Easter feast consisting of fish, couscous, and asparagus! it was oh so yummy!!

 Our Beautiful Easter Flowers!

I can't seem to take a good picture lately!!

And to end the night right we made ourselves a yummy fruit pizza!
Happy Easter everybody!!

End of Semester! YAY! :)

Friday April 6th marked the end of winter semester for Spencer! and we are so excited for this little break before the next one starts! :) and so before I had to head off to work we spent the morning celebrating this (and his ridiculously good grades!)
Our festivities started off with selling back our huge stacks of text books! and once we were done with that we ended up with $45 cash in our pockets! Woo! so we decided to go look around Walmart for a little bit... didn't find anything too exciting there... and then all of the sudden we were at Cold Stones! Eating delicious ice cream!
by the time we finished our lovely dessert, we decided that we wanted to actually eat some lunch! so we ordered Chinese take out and headed back to our little home :)
and it was a perfect day :)

SHHHHHH!!!

So!! I'm a LITTLE bit excited about the surprise Easter basket that I got for Spencer this year!! I love surprises!! I've had it all ready for the past week... hidden in the back seat of the car!

It's complete with some dark chocolate and healthy snacks for my sweet love...I'm up early this morning finishing it up, and I sure hope that he loves it! :)

Hunger Games

So I thought that I would just post really quickly about the book that consumed my day yesterday!

I finally got my hands on the last book in the Hunger Games Series! and of course just like the other two I couldn't put it down! I officially love these books and highly recommend the new movie as well! :)
anyways... that's what I did on my day off while Spencer was studying for all of his many finals! :)
And I am quite pleased with myself because I attempted to make fish for the first time in my life (Spencer's request because I'm not much of a fish person myself) and it was actually extremely easy and delicious! parmesan tilapia is definitely my new favorite! :)

He might just be...

THE cutest "pot head" in the world!! Goodness I love him! :)

Just sharing a midnight snack (literally) after a late shift of work! :)
Hope you're Monday is a great one!!
